Propane 1,2,3-triol, glycerol or glycerin (C3H8O3) (from the Greek glykos, “sweet”) is a by-product in the production of biodiesel.

Tech Natural Oleo, a company in the Oleofat Group, produces and markets in its Caparroso (Navarre) facilities USP/EP grade pharma quality vegetable glycerine with a glycerol concentration of 99.8%, intended for pharmaceutical and food applications.
